Europe’s security environment is becoming increasingly complex, requiring responses that extend beyond traditional military and emergency measures. Johanna Sumuvuori, Director of the European Centre of Excellence for Civilian Crisis Management (CoE), explains how the Centre supports 25 EU member states in strengthening their civilian crisis management capabilities and adapting to rapidly evolving challenges.
